in what year was the head to head tie introduced in football game if theres a points tie on the league table?
in last years football league in spain, Real madrid won the title even though Barcelona had better goals aggregate. a friend of mine told me it was due to the head to head tie between the two teams during the season. what i want to know is in what year was this introduced as i have always thought the team with the better goals aggregate wins when there is a points tie at the end of the league season.
It’s always been like that in Spain. Every country’s FA have their own set of rules.
Fernando Torres to Chelsea

The text also explores issues connected to the growing trend of overseas ownership in the English Premier League and by doing so, the book draws upon a range of sociological theories to tell the story of the local and global repertoires of action emanating from the popular protests at Liverpool and Manchester United football clubs. |
