Can anyone tell me about holidays in Catalonia, Spain?
Thinking of visiting in July. I’ve never been to spain, & have heard Catalonia is beautiful.
I want to visit Barcelona, but would like the majority of the stay to be in a more country-fied place!
Anyone got advice on places of natural beauty and history that would be worth a visit?
There’s just 2 of us, & would prefer a villa/appartment to a hotel.
(had a look on some travel sites but the info seems to be about the whole of Spain generally)

Stay in La Vall de Boí, La Cerdanya or Montseny, and go to Barcelona, Girona, Figueres, Aigüestortes, Banyoles…
Try to know catalan culture, language and cuisine.
